LUCY ...in the sky with diamonds

It's been a rough week. Brutal temperatures in the mid-90's (Northern Indiana...already!). Two sick kids. One 5-hour wait in the emergency room. And my kitty who was 15 years old passed away. She's been with me longer than my husband and kids. She's lived with me in three different states and countless living conditions. From the screen door climbing fireball of a kitten to the grouchy, yet loving, queen-of-the-house. I was with her during her last hours here on earth. My hand was on her when she drew her last breath. I will miss her forever.
