A Simple Sunday
Hope everyone has a perfect Souper Sunday! I'm just lazing around, eating one of my all-time favorite sammies, a BLT.

Yum, I did a sandwich post, but have never used it...put chips on hubbies sandwich to freak him out :)
I have bacon in the fridge, some yummy heirloom tomatoes, so I am making this now!

When we were first married my husband kept bugging me to make BLT's to which I replied, 'that's great for you, but I can't eat them - hello? bacon! - gotta love allergies. He very lovingly made BLT's for us one night, introducing me to turkey bacon. Now I get why people love these sandwiches - they're great!
how can anyone dislike BLT? it has bacon in it! yum!
I think a blt is a perfectly rounded meal - protein, carbs, veggies and if you add fries, well, just more veggies :).

BLTs are just about the most perfect sammie out there: a little bit of creaminess from mayo, crunchy bacon, healthy veggies. What more do we need?
